Robert Wedinger, Ph.D. - President & CEO
Bob Wedinger has over 20 years experience in the specialty-chemicals industry. After a post-doctoral research appointment at Harvard University, Bob joined FMC Corporation as a Discovery Chemist in the Agricultural Chemicals Group. He held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in the Specialty Chemicals Group of FMC before moving to Honeywell International (Allied Signal). At Honeywell, Bob rose from Director of Research to Vice President and General Manager of the Pharmaceutical Fine Chemicals business. Bob then served as Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Products and the Performance Materials businesses at JM Huber. Most recently, Bob was the Chief Business Officer and Group President, Performance Materials, at Chemtura Corporation, a $3.7 billion specialty-chemicals company.
Bob earned a Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Thomas Boussie, Ph.D. – Co-Founder, Vice President Corporate Development
Tom Boussie is co-founder of Rennovia. He brings more than 13 years of experience in the chemicals industry ranging from bench chemist to business opportunity analyst to technical entrepreneur.
Before co-founding Rennovia, Tom was a Distinguished Scientist at Symyx Technologies, a leading provider of high-throughput R&D technology and software. At Symyx Tom was co-inventor on over 60 patents in high-throughput reactor and screening technology, advanced catalyst design, and semiconductor manufacturing processes technology.
Tom has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.

Vincent Murphy, Ph.D. – Co-Founder, Vice President Research and Development
Prior to co-founding Rennovia, Vince was Director of Homogeneous Catalysis at Symyx Technologies, where he led research collaborations with major chemical companies. His research group discovered breakthrough catalyst families that have been implemented commercially in the chemical industry, including those used to manufacture Dow Chemical’s Versify suite of polypropylene elastomers and plastomers.
Vince obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology, U.K. and a D.Phil. from the University of Oxford. He conducted postdoctoral research at Columbia University and Exxon Chemical. Vince has co authored over 30 scientific publications and holds more than 30 issued patents.

John D. Super – Vice President, Engineering
John Super has over 40 years experience in the chemicals industry. He was with DuPont for 28 years, developing commodity, specialty, and fine chemicals production technologies. John’s final position at DuPont was Engineering Fellow. He then moved to Nova Molecular Technologies as VP Technology, Dixie Chemicals Company as VP Engineering and New Ventures, and most recently KBR as Director of the Technology Center. John’s career has always been challenged with new projects and products, always in the technology space, and often involving catalysis. John has published frequently, was Director of the Organic Reactions Catalysis Society 2004-2008, and currently chairs the Industrial Advisory Board at University of Houston Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department.
John has a MS in Biochemical and Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania.

Gary Diamond, Ph.D. – Vice President Product Development
Gary Diamond joined Rennovia in 2010 to lead the product development and commercialization effort. Before joining Rennovia, Gary was Vice President, Catalysis, at Symyx Technologies, leading high-throughput catalysis research across a wide range of application areas, from business development to successful delivery of research goals to customers. Prior to joining Symyx in 1999, Gary was a Senior Technologist with Mobil Chemical Company. Gary has over 40 issued patents, from novel catalysts and materials to high-throughput screening technology.
Gary has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, England.

Gus T. Hampilos – Vice President Legal
Gus Hampilos has over 20 years of experience counseling major business units of Fortune 500 companies on IP and general legal matters. Gus began his legal career at Allied Chemical, rising to the position of Senior IP Counsel to Allied’s Fibers division and ultimately to the duel role of Chief IP Counsel to AlliedSignal’s Automotive Sector and Associate General Counsel of AlliedSignal with responsibility for general legal matters of its Vehicle Antilock Brakes business. Gus then joined Union Carbide Corporation as Associate IP Counsel, with responsibility for IP matters for Carbide’s Solvents, Intermediates and Monomers, Ethylene Oxide/Glycols, Derivatives and Hydrocarbons divisions. Recently, Gus was Chief IP Counsel at Engelhard Corporation, a $5 billion specialty materials company. Before joining Rennovia, Gus consulted Rennovia and others on strategic IP issues.
Gus earned a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a J.D. from Catholic University of America.
