Catalytic chemical process technology - Scalable; readily integrated.

Over 90% of chemical manufacturing processes rely on chemical catalytic technologies. Industrial catalysts accelerate chemical reactions, provide enhanced purity products, and enable large-scale, economic production of many chemical products.

Rennovia is developing advanced chemical catalytic processes for the conversion of bio-based, renewable feedstocks to major-market chemical products. We endeavor to design processes which are readily scalable and which employ standard chemical production and purification equipment wherever possible. Rennovia seeks process technologies that will integrate seamlessly with, and potentially employ, existing manufacturing assets.

Core to Rennovia's business is its catalyst and process discovery and optimization infrastructure, Rennovia's high-throughput technology enables not only the synthesis and screening of tens of thousands of catalyst formulations in a short period of time, but also the development of basic process conditions under which chemicals derived from bio-renewable feedstocks could be economically producible. Rennovia currently has the capability of scaling process technologies through pilot scale operation, and intends working with partners to scale its processes to demonstration and full commercial scale.
